Collaborators

Richard Haier is an emeritus professor-in-residence in the School of Medicine at the University of California, Irvine. His research focuses on the neural basis of human intelligence and cognition. He works with neuroimaging technologies to study individual differences in mental abilities.

Dr. Sherif Karama is an assistant professor of clinical psychiatry at McGill University. He conducts research on the neurobiological correlates of cognitive ability changes throughout the lifespan.

Roberto Colom is a professor of psychology at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He studies the psychometric, cognitive, and biological bases of human intelligence (cognitive abilities) and personality traits.

Martijn van den Heuvel is an assistant professor in the department of psychiatry at the University Medical Center Utrecht. His projects are focused on developing and applying graph analytical approaches to examine functional and structural network connectivity in psychiatric and neurological brain diseases.

Miguel Burgaleta is a post-doctoral researcher in the Speech Acquisition & Perception Group at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. His current work focuses on neuroanatomical markers of language perception, and he is also interested in brain plasticity and training-induced or developmental changes in cognitive abilities.

Eileen Luders is an assistant professor in the Laboratory of Neuro Imaging at the UCLA School of Medicine. Her research interests include brain morphology in active meditation practitioners and the neuroanatomical correlates of intelligence.

David Bashwiner is an assistant professor of music theory at the University of New Mexico. His research interests include the neuroscience of the emotional response to music and the brain-structural changes that result from musical training.
